Selvi, a resident of Nagapattinam district reportedly stopped her son from going to school since August after she was told by an astrologer that her son’s life would be in danger if he stepped out of the house alone. The boy, Sivaneshkumar, a Class IX student of Government High School in Kothangudi, had managed to alert childline officials through their toll-free number 1098 on Friday, December 15. After intervention and counselling by the officials,Sivaneshkumar went back to school yesterday, December 18.
