Stranded passengers at the Guwahati airport protested after flights were cancelled on Saturday night. According to reports, Jet Airways first delayed a Kolkata-bound flight and later cancelled it at 10:30pm Saturday night. The passengers claimed they were not provided accommodation and were only served sandwiches after protesting. Jet Airways later said the passengers would be put on a later flight, subject to seat availability. The flights were reportedly cancelled due to intense fog.
