A Rs 19 crore project for the beautification of Chennai’s coastal line along Elliot and Marina beach which has been awaiting financial sanction was approved recently. According to DC reports, officials said that tenders are ready, and the beautification process will resume shortly. Notably, funds for beautification of Neelangarai and Kottivakkam beach have failed to get sanction.
