According to reports, doctors examining Akash who killed Indhuja in Adambakkam told jailers that he needs psychological help. Reportedly, a team of doctors from the Institute of Mental Health asked the prison officials to get a ‘reception order’ for Akash to treat him at IMH. The 23-year-old Akash set his classmate Indhuja ablaze in her apartment as she allegedly rejected his love proposal.
