World’s first human head transplant a 'success'

The world’s first human head transplant has allegedly been performed by a team led by Dr Xiaoping Ren in an 18-hour operation between two corpses. The Italian neurosurgeon Sergio Canavero who partnered with Dr Xiaoping Ren to perform the surgery claimed that the procedure was a ‘success’. Reports say, no evidence has been submitted so far to back their claim, instead Canavero has said that details would be released in the next few days. Notably, in the past, Canavero and Ren have reported success in performing mice, monkey and rat head transplant operations.
