Man run over by speeding car dies

According to reports, a 75-year-old man passed away on Thursday after being run over by a speeding car on the Kamarajar Salai on Thursday morning.

 

The deceased has been identified as Ramanujam, a resident of V R Pillai Street in Triplicane. The accident happened when he was trying to cross the road, after a morning walk on the Marina Beach.

 

When passersby rushed him to General Hospital, they were informed that he was brought dead.
