International players skip travel to Chennai post apt horror

The New Indian Express reports saying that Switzerland's junior squash champion Ambre Allinckx has pulled out from the World Junior Squash Championships to be held in Chennai as the 16-year-old's parents felt that India is unsafe for women, over recent attacks on women.

Coaches and parents from other visiting teams like Iran, Australia, etc, have also voiced their concerns regarding the safety of their players. Recently, 17 men were arrested for raping an 11-year-old girl in Chennai and this seems to have pushed the panic button further.
