A woman identified as Chandra, hailing from Tirunelveli was run over by a lorry while she attempted to cross a busy road in Karumathampatti, Coimbatore. The woman succumbed to her injuries and passed away on the spot. The accident was recorded on a CCTV in the area. The body of the woman has reportedly been sent for post-mortem.
