In a tweet, BJP leader H Raja questioned who is responsible for the growth of Tamil Language. He said, Tamil poets and authors like Kamban, Periyalvar, Nayanmargal are the ones who are responsible for the growth of Tamil and not the one who wrote stories like ‘Velakari, Odiponaval, Policekaran Magal’. This looks like an open statement against Vairamuthu for his essay titled 'Tamilai Andal'
