Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami reportedly said that the Chennai Metro is the safest for women and records for 40 percent fewer crimes when compared to national figures from other states. He further highlighted that R S Puram station in Coimbatore and Anna Nagar police station in Chennai have been listed as one of the best police stations under SMART category by Centre.
