During the Urban Thinkers Campus Conference on Friday, Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam reportedly said that the State government is preparing a special plan to develop North Chennai where a notable number of residents are living below the ‘poverty line’. Reports say, under the plan, North Chennai will receive major housing infrastructural changes. Under the plan, Chennai is set to turn into a world-class city, he reportedly added.
