S VE SHEKHER NOT TO BE ARRESTED?

In what looks like a reprieve for BJP functionary S Ve Shekher, the Supreme Court on Tuesday has stayed his arrest till June 1.
 

Earlier, S Ve Shekher was in the dock for sharing a Facebook post that portrayed women journalists in poor light.
 

Though S Ve Shekher feigned ignorance by saying that he had shared the post without properly reading it, the Madras High Court dismissed his anticipatory bail petition and said he wasn’t a child to say such silly excuses.
