Case against actress Vijayashanthi quashed

The Madras High Court on Tuesday quashed a case against actress Vijayashanthi  following a dispute over the sale of eight grounds of land at T. Nagar, reports The Hindu. The court said that the complainant can initiate civil proceedings as opposed to launching criminal prosecution.
