Bus strike: Breaking move against transport employees

TNSTC General Manager of Kumbakonam reportedly suspended over 20 transport employees in the district for involving in stone pelting incidents and causing inconvenience to the public during the ongoing bus strike. Further, over 4,300 employees were given notice asking for an explanation for their absence from work.
