AIADMK functionary hacked to death in Namakkal

According to reports, an AIADMK functionary was hacked to death by a gang of two members in Vettukadu near Sendamangalam in Namakkal district. Suresh, Amma Peravai secretary for Sendamangalam union, was returning with another man Kumar after visiting a lawyer to discuss a property dispute. Two men, Sivakumar and Vimalkumar, intercepted them near Vettukadu bus stand and sprayed chilli powder on them. They assaulted Suresh and left him in a pool of blood; Sivakumar also suffered injuries. Suresh was rushed to a private hospital in Namakkal where he was declared brought dead. Police are searching for the two accused.
