2 NABBED FOR POSING AS COUPLE, ROBBING PASSENGERS IN MTC BUS

A 32-year-old man Prabakaran and his 30-year-old woman relative Rathi were reportedly arrested for posing as a couple and stealing from passengers traveling on MTC buses by diverting their attention. The duo hails from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. Rathi was married and has a 1-year-old son. Prabhakar was her brother-in-law.

Both were arrested by the city police and around 42 sovereigns of jewelry and Rs 82,000 in cash were recovered. Later, they were remanded in judicial custody by a magistrate court.
