A 14-year-old girl was reportedly locked up and abused by her relatives as she wanted to go to school. Reportedly, the girl was rescued by activists from Guduvanchery. The girl was abandoned by her father and her mother is reportedly suffering from a mental illness. The girl has reportedly been attending school without her relatives’ knowledge and when they discovered, she was locked in a room and was forced to take care of cattle at their home.
