IPL 2022: "WE MISSED HIM IN THE WORLD CUP" - RAVI SHASTRI ABOUT THIS TAMIL NADU PLAYER!

At last year's T20 World Cup, India were considered as one of the teams to win the trophy.

However, the league went round and round, creating shock and disappointment amongst the fans.

Following this, the fans are expecting the Indian team to win the T20 World Cup which will be held in Australia this year.

Meanwhile, Ravi Shastri, the former coach of the Indian team, is currently commenting on missing this Tamil Nadu player in last year's World Cup. The Indian team, which toured Australia in 2020 and 2021, set a historic record by winning the Test series.

T Natarajan, who was part of the tour, proved his mettle by making his debut in all three formats of cricket, from bowling and then against Australia. Commenting on Natarajan, Ravi Shastri said, "Very happy for him. We missed him in the World Cup. He would’ve been a certainty had he been fit. He got injured against England when we were playing the ODI series and we really missed him (in the World Cup). He’s that specialist death bowler, bowls those yorkers very skilfully. He’s got great control. He is skiddy. A bit quicker than you think and hits the bat."

“Every game I’ve picked him we won. In his debut in T20, Indian won. In his debut in Test Cricket, India won. From a net bowler, he played those two formats,” said Shastri.

Natarajan, who was injured during the match against England in March 2021, has been playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL for almost a year now. He was auctioned off by the Hyderabad team for Rs 4 crore in the IPL.

Natarajan has taken a total of 4 wickets in the two matches the team has played so far. His yorker ball against Lucknow yesterday which bowled out Krunal Pandya is worth-mentioning.
