Indian captain Virat Kohli has reportedly asked the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) for a break from cricket. Citing 'personal reasons', Kohli has requested the board to give him a break that will see him miss one Test and the entire ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka in December. India is scheduled to play three Tests, three ODIs, and three T20s against Lanka at home from November 16 to December 24. Notably, on Monday, Kohli has been named in the squad for the first two Test matches against Sri Lanka.
