MI WIN THEIR FOURTH IPL TITLE !!! NAIL-BITING FINISHES TO BIG GAME!!!

Although the top order of the Mumbai Indians got starts, Pollard was the one who stepped up as he finished with an unbeaten 41 from 25 balls and took the total to 149 in the 20 overs which was considered below par. But in a final, any score on the board can be good and hence CSK had to put up a good show.

Faf Du Plessis got off to a flyer with 26 of 13 balls. The middle order of CSK struggled with Raina, Rayudu and Dhoni not contributing much to the teams total. Watson, however, continued his good form from the previous match as he was setting himself up for the end. Dhoni's run out pushed CSK back as they were just 82 in 12.4 overs. Shane Watson, however,  accelerated after that as he started scoring freely as CSK's hopes were raising again.

The big over that changed the game was Malinga's16th over which went for 20 runs and brought it down to 42 to win from the last 4 overs. Bumrah was exceptional once again today as he just gave 4 runs in the 17th over and brought the Mumbai Indians back in the game. Krunal Pandya bowling the 18th over once again leaked 20 including 3 big sixes from Watson. Bumrah bowled a brilliant 19th over once again but De Kock missing the last ball took some pressure off CSK as it came to 9 to win from the last over. Shane Watson got run out in the 4th ball for a magnificent 80 from 59 balls and it was 4 to win from the last 2 balls.

Thakur got 2 of the 5th ball and left 2 off the final ball. Malinga bowled a straight ball that the batsman missed and got LBW. Mumbai Indians won by 1 run in the Finals of IPL 2019 and hence got to their 4th IPL title.
