Coming out to bat, Virat Kohli was hitting from the middle of the bat from ball one. They got off to a good start with Virat Kohli and Parthiv Patel getting a 64 runs opening partnership. Once the first wicket fell, AB Devillers walked out to the wicket and that is where the show started. Both Kohli and Devillers started were striking the ball and looked in ominous form together. They combined for a massive 108 runs partnership off just 56 deliveries. Virat Kohli got out to Kuldeep Yadav for 84 runs off just 49 balls in the first ball of the 18th over which got KKR back in the game.

Ab Devilliers then got out to Narine the following over trying to hit a six after getting 63 runs off just 32 balls. But Stoinis after a slow start came back well against the pace of Prasidh Krishna, scoring 18 runs of the last over and took RCB to a massive total of 205.  Marcus Stoinis ended up finishing the innings very well with an unbeaten 28 of 13 balls.

This definitely is a very good score for the RCB and can very well get them back to winning ways. However, there is dew on this surface and the ball will come on to the bat. If KKR get off to a good start, then it is chasable which will make it an interesting match.
