India won the 2nd test by 46 runs and an innings against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The victory has grabbed 5 records and achievements in the book of test cricket for team India as listed below.

Virat Kohli became the first Indian Captain to win 7 successive Test matches. Therefore, he had crossed Dhoni's record of winning 6 successive test matches in 2013.

India is the first team to win 4 consecutive Test matches by a margin of an innings. This is one of the rarest records in Test cricket history.
