Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir has reportedly been appointed as the captain of the IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils for the upcoming season of the league on Wednesday. Earlier, Gambhir led Kolkata Knight Riders for seven years and won the titles in 2012 and 2014 respectively. Gambhir was released by KKR and was bought back by the DD during the players' auction in January 2018.
