Veteran Congress leader Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi dies at 72

Former Union Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi passed away at a hospital in Delhi on Monday. The veteran Congress leader was 72. He was on life support for over a decade after he fell into coma in 2008 following a stroke. Dasmunsi was Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister and headed the Indian football governing body when he went into coma. PM Modi, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and several other national leaders have expressed grief over his demise.
