“DON’T KILL ME, PLEASE DON’T BEAT ME": MOB LYNCHES 2 MEN SUSPECTED TO BE KIDNAPPERS

In yet another incident, two men in Guwahati, Assam on Friday night were lynched by a mob who suspected them to be kidnappers. Reportedly, one of the assailants even took a video of the brutal incident.

From the video, one of the victims could be heard begging, "Don’t kill me, please don’t beat me. I am an Assamese. Believe me, I am speaking the truth. My father’s name is Gopal Chandra Das and mother’s name is Radhika Das. Please let me go.”

The victims were identified as Nilotpal and Abhijit Nath, who were working in Goa. Reportedly, they had gone to Guwahati for a day and asked for directions. The residents, however, suspected them to be child lifters. When the men were returning back home, their car was intercepted and they were attacked.

So far no action has been taken by the police to arrest the accused.
