Tripura: 52-year-old man held for repeatedly raping minor girl

According to reports, a 58-year-old-man was arrested on the charge of repeatedly raping a 14-year-old girl for about three months in Tripura's Khowai district.

 

The girl was allegedly raped 11 times at the man's house, since February this year. The accused threatened the survivor with dire consequences if she revealed the matter to anyone.

 

The accused has been charged with rape, criminal intimidation and was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act.
