A Goa court on Thursday charged former Tehelka magazine editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal of sexually assaulting a junior colleague in 2013. The 54-year-old journalist has pleaded not guilty and denied all the charges against him saying they are absolutely false and motivated by a political vendetta and has appealed to the Bombay High Court that the case should be dropped.
