Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar will reportedly inaugurate a newly built stadium named after him in Louisville, Kentucky, in the US. The venue will be called the ‘Sunil Gavaskar Field’. "It's a wonderful honour to have a ground named after you especially in a country where cricket is not the premier sport", Gavaskar told TOI. Notably, Gavaskar also has a stand named after him at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
