After the 23rd GST council meet, over 200 items including many daily use products are set to get cheaper from November 15. Eating out in hotels and restaurants will also become cheaper as the council slashed the GST rates to 5% from 12% and 18% earlier for both air-conditioned and non-AC restaurants. After the latest change, just 50 items remain in the highest tax bracket of 28%.
