Popular hospital strikes back for cancelling licence over child’s ‘death’

The Max Healthcare authorities reportedly issued a statement that the move to cancel the licence of Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh by Delhi government was ‘harsh’ and ‘unfair’. "We have not been given an adequate opportunity to be heard," the statement added. Notably, the move was taken after a three-member inquiry panel submitted a report describing the incident in which a newborn baby was wrongly declared 'dead' as “not acceptable.”
