PETROL, DIESEL PRICES SLASHED

The oil marketing companies slashed the prices of petrol and diesel on Monday. The petrol prices have been reduced in the range of 10-11 paise in four metro cities. The diesel prices, on the other hand, have been slashed in the range of 13-15 paise.

In Chennai, petrol is sold at Rs 79.77 per litre. In New Delhi and Kolkata, petrol is priced at Rs 76.84 and Rs 79.51 per litre respectively. Customers need to pay Rs 84.22 per litre in Mumbai.

Diesel is priced at Rs 72.29 per litre in Chennai. In New Delhi and Kolkata, the diesel is sold for Rs 68.47 and Rs 71.03 per litre respectively. In Mumbai, diesel can be bought at Rs 72.65 per litre.
