Petrol crosses Rs 90 mark in Maharashtra.

Even while the Congress led the Bharat Bandh to protest against rising fuel costs in the country, the price of petrol crossed the Rs 90 mark in Parbhani, a city located in eastern Maharashtra.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 90.05 per litre in Parbhani and diesel at Rs 77.92 per litre. In Mumbai, the price of petrol rose to Rs 88.26 per litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 77.47 per litre.

This is not an odd case with other metros too seeing sharp rises in prices, In Delhi, petrol is being sold at Rs 80.87 per litre, and diesel at Rs 72.97 per litre.

Some states like Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal have slashed prices by Rs 2 and Re 1 respectively.
