Dalit activist Jignesh Mevani has reportedly said that PM Modi should clarify his stance regarding the violence against Dalits. The newly elected Gujarat legislator reportedly asked, “I will go to the PM on January 9 with a copy of the Manu Smriti and Constitution and ask him what do you choose.” He also reportedly accused the Sangh Parivar and BJP are targeting him and trying to tarnish his image keeping in mind the Gujarat Assembly elections results and the General elections in 2019.
