MAN DIES AFTER ANTS FEED ON HIM FOR TWO DAYS IN HOSPITAL

A 30-year-old man was found dead in a hospital in Chhattisgarh after ants fed on his wounds and bedsores for two days straight. A video of the man was sent to NDTV from which ants could reportedly be seen crawling on his bandaged arm.
The man was first noticed unconscious outside a primary health centre last month but was denied any treatment. He was finally given first-aid and sent to a district hospital on June 28 after the intervention of a lawmaker.
Knowing about the man's situation, the media reached the hospital, only to find him lying with ants swarming around his wounds. The man could not even speak and reportedly died on Monday. It is suspected that the ants came as he was given glucose intravenously.
