COUPLE HOLDS ELECTION TO CHOOSE THEIR BABY'S NAME

A couple from Maharashtra reportedly held an election to decide on a name for their newborn son. After coming up with three choices - Yaksha, Yovik, and Yuvan, they were unable to come to a conclusion. Mithun and Mansi Bang held an election on June 15 to let the public choose a name for their baby.

The election was held with banners and ballot boxes, to which friends and relatives came to vote. The child's father reportedly said that according to the boy's astrological charts he is to become a politician and so they chose this method to choose his name.

After the election, the boy's name was finally named Yuvan.
