KILLER OF TELANGANA STUDENT SHARATH KOPPU SHOT DEAD

US authorities on Monday informed that the suspect of the Kansas City shooting was shot dead after a fire exchange with the police. The shooting took place on July 6 when 25-year-old Sharath Koppu from Telangana was shot dead.
Koppu was killed during an attempted robbery at a restaurant in Kansas City. The suspect was found by the police on Sunday. However, when he was approached, he shot at them with a rifle. This triggered a series of gunfire exchange, at the end of which the suspect was killed. The three police officers who brought down the suspect were left injured.
Koppu was a software engineer from Telangana who had gone to the US to pursue his master's degree. His body was brought back home last week.
