Gujarat engineer claims to be avatar of Vishnu, govt issues notice

According to reports, the Gujarat government has sent a notice to a superintending engineer of the Sardar Sarovar project who had told his higher-ups that he is the incarnation of Vishnu.

Rameshchandra Fefar had reportedly explained to his higher-ups that his job was too underqualified for him to work on as he is the 10th avatar of Vishnu, the Hindu God. He reportedly said this when he was issued a show-cause-notice for coming to work on only 16 days in eight months of service.

Fefar had reportedly asked, "Should I kill time in the office or meditate from home to prevent droughts in the country?” Due to his nonchalance, the state government has issued a notice to him to explain his behaviour.
