Fourth fodder scam: Lalu Prasad Yadav gets 7 years jail term

The former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was reportedly sentenced to 14 years in jail in a fodder scam case. The multi-million-rupee scam which surfaced in the 1990s when Lalu Yadav was chief minister involves the embezzlement of government funds in Bihar meant for cattle fodder.
