WING COMMANDER ABHINANDHAN IS BACK; FLIES FOR FIRST TIME AFTER HIS AERIAL COMBAT AGAINST PAK!

Indian Air Marshall BS Dhanoa flew his last sortie before retirement with Wing Commander Abhinandhan Varthaman in a MiG – 21 on Monday.

After the flight, he said, "Both of us got ejected and both of us fought Pakistanis. I fought Kargil war and he fought Balakot. I have flown with his father. We were together in MiG – 21 squadron.”

He further said that he got ejected in 1999 during Kargil war and that it took 9 months for him to get his category back while Abhinandhan is back in less than 6 months. “ It is a honour for me to have flown my last sortie with Abhinandhan.”
