After Kerala this state to have Dalit priests

Learning a lesson or two from the neighbouring state Kerala, Karnataka has reportedly decided to appoint Dalit priests in its temples. Candidates from Dalit community have reportedly enrolled to get qualified by the Agama Shalas after five years of course. Before finishing course, the candidates will have to finish Pravara, Praveena and Vidhwath modules.
