13-YEAR-OLD BOY MARRIES 23-YEAR-OLD WOMAN TO FULFIL MOTHER’S WISH

In a shocking incident, a 13-year-old boy was married off to a 23-year-old  woman at Upparahal village in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district late last month. According to reports, they were made to marry each other as the boy’s mother, who is suffering from terminal illness wanted a woman to manage their household works after her demise.

Although the boy’s marriage with the 23-year-old woman was allegedly solemnised at their residence on April 27, local authorities came to know about it after photographs of the so-called wedding went viral on the social media.
