“IF YOU LOVE SOMEBODY, AGE IS JUST A NUMBER”: 72-YEAR-OLD WIFE OF TEENAGER

A 72-year-old woman from Maryville, Tennessee in the US, is happily married to her 19-year-old ‘true love’ for two years now despite 53 years of difference in their ages. The woman, Almeda Errell, and the teenager Gary Hardwick reportedly met at a birthday party in 2016. The teenager is younger than one of Almeda’s grandsons. The woman is a mother of four and grandmother of six. However, the couple admitted that not all of their family members accepted their relationship. Almeda said, ““If you love somebody, age is just a number,” while Gary said, “As long as you're in love with that person, you should follow your heart and be happy and be yourself.”
