SARAVANAN IRUKKA BAYAMAEN CAST & CREW
Production: Red Giant Movies Cast: Jangiri Madhumitha, Livingston, Manobala, Mansoor Ali Khan, Parotta Soori, Regina Cassandra, Srushti Dange, Udhayanidhi Stalin Direction: S Ezhil Screenplay: S Ezhil Story: S Ezhil Music: D Imman Background score: D Imman Cinematography: KG Venkatesh Dialogues: S Ezhil Editing: K.Anand Lingakumar Singers: Aditya Gadhvi, Benny Dayal, Kalyani Iyer, Maria Kavita Thomas, Praniti, Sean Roldan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Vishal Dadlani PRO: Suresh Chandra

Yembuttu Irukkuthu Aasai
Singers : D. Imman, Kalyani Nair, Sean Roldan
Lyrics : Yugabharathi

An Imman signature melody to start with. The usual Imman style beats flow in and the track has a slow tempo and lazy vocals rendered by Sean Roldan and Kalyani Nair. Instruments are his home ground and Imman has used strings, violin and a monotonous rhythm. However, the tune does not get the pulse of the listener easily.

Semma Joru
Singers : Maria Kavita Thomas, Vishal Dadlani
Lyrics : Yugabharathi

A rock style song sung by Vishal, Maria and the composer himself. Vishal sounds great as always. The use of saxophone is evident. The theme of the song is love and there is not much experimentation. The chorus is okayish and the levels of the singers’ voices are very cliche of the composer’s usual style. There is also use of  trumpets in the latter half of the song. Semma Joru is a decent and a light listen.

Marhaba Aavona
Singers : Aditya Gadhvi, Shreya Ghoshal
Lyrics : Yugabharathi

Marhaba Aavona starts off with a Hindi touch. You get a lot of Hindi lyrics to start with and expect something really different. But, as soon as the beats start flowing in again, there is the harmonium and Ghatam and the usual strings supported by singers Shreya and Aditya. Shreya Ghoshal’s vocals are the biggest positive. There are slight variations and Marhaba is less monotonous leaving the listener marginally satisfied.

Langu Langu Labakaru
Singers : Praniti
Lyrics : Yugabharathi

Langu Langu has a kid’s voice and is a situational song. Praniti has sung very well and her sweet innocent voice with the chorus carries this number forward. The lyrics also rhyme quite well and there is a sense of life added to the song with the mild piano and strings.

Lalaa Kadai Saanthi
Singers : Sunidhi Chauhan, Benny Dayal
Lyrics : Yugabharathi

A raw number sung by Sunidhi and Benny. It has the theme of attraction between two people. It starts off with a rock style but moves onto to be a folk number. A blend of the two genres. There is use of electric guitars and electronic music along with the kuthu beats as well. Quite a mix, but not in the best proportion.

Melancholic Ride

Melancholic Ride is the final theme music to end with. The flute is mesmerizing and there is a mildly haunting Melodica instrument as well. It is a pleasant getaway from the majorly cliche numbers in the album. The Melancholy ride is worth the wait.

Verdict: D.Imman's template album that has melodies and folk numbers offered in his trademark style!
