TAMIL MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

Moodar Koodam, the next black comedy on the cards, is all set to release this Friday, 13^th September. Directed by debutant Naveen, this film stars Sentrayan, Oviya, Rajaji and Jayaprakash in the central roles. Director Naveen himself has performed as one of the lead characters of the film. Director/producer Pandiraj, who has invested in this venture, is very confident about the project and in an interview with Behindwoods, reveals the highlights of the movie. Excerpts:
 

• “Unlike my own films like Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga or Marina, this is a black comedy. This is a new genre in Tamil Cinema. Director Naveen has narrated a serious story in a very comic way.”
   
• “The story is the biggest strength and curiosity. It talks about four fools and how their doings affect the lives of people around them. Audience would laugh their lungs out throughout the movie.”
   
• “The songs will not interrupt the flow of the film. Tracks are short and are part of the screenplay. Every song will only help the movie to move forward. The film will also feature KJ Yesudas’ first song Neeyum Bommai.”
   
• “There is also an animation song sequence in the film. Director Naveen has put in a lot of effort into the sequence to make it look very imaginative. I’m sure children will love the sequence.”
   
• “I’m very sure that, after Moodar Koodam, director Naveen will be labeled as one of the most promising talents of this year.”
   

“The film will also break the usual storytelling template. Naveen has adapted different formats of storytelling in the film. He has narrated a part of the story through animation, some parts through 48-frames format and some through the classic fast paced format.”
