Aarohanam has had a good run in the theaters and director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has been showered with praises through good reviews and social networks. The lady with the megaphone has now decided to take the project to Bollywood.

She recently announced that the ground work for the Hindi remake of Aarohanam is underway. The Tamil version starred Viji Chandrashekar in the central role and as a mother suffering from bipolar disorder. Jayaprakash, Sampath, Veeresh, Jai Quehini, Uma Padmanabhan and Rajee Vijayasarathy played pivotal roles.
