The plot of Befikre revolves around a relationship that springs between Ranveer Singh  and the free-spirited Vaani Kapoor, who he meets in  Paris. Sketching this as the main plot, the director has given his best at throwing in a lot of wild and fun moments. And although they do work in places, sadly they are not enough.

Led by a structurally hollow screenplay, the cast and crew  try their best in delivering a commendable piece of work. The songs are a big plus of the movie and are a notch above hum-worthy. Looks like the cinematographer is gifted with the art of turning any frame into a beautiful piece of art. Every sequence has been painted beautifully by Kaname Onoyama. Guided by neat editing the film proves that the crew is a strong one. 

The performance of the cast is refreshing. Ranveer Singh pumps up energy that is infectious. Vani Kapoor stuns us with her dance moves. This pair ignites the screen. The rest of the cast is apt.

But with a story that is devoid of any soul, the plot seems remarkably empty. The run time seems a tad long. While the first half progresses at a brisk pace, the second half stretches. Overall Befikre is like a trip but with no dimensional purpose what so ever.
