The music launch of the Jayam Ravi - Amala Paul starrer, Nimirnthu Nil, directed by Samuthirakani was held today morning at the Sathyam Cinemas premises. Many top directors from the industry made their presence felt at the launch. The likes of Ameer, S P Jhananathan, Rajesh, Sasikumar, Gautham Menon, Pandiraj, Suseenthiran, Vetrimaaran and Cheran made it to the event and had good words to say about the cast and crew of Nimirnthu Nil.

Birthday boy Arya, the hero of the Telugu version Nani, Ragini Dwivedi, composer G.V.Prakash and Soori were also present at the launch. Two songs and a trailer were screened at the event much to the delight of the fans and guests who attended the launch.

Jayam Ravi while speaking at the event said

"It is an important day for me. I get a special feeling receiving all the positive vibrations from fans, family members and all the important directors that are here. I feel lucky.

I learnt a lot from Kani Sir and he is an inspiration to new directors. He is like a big brother to me and knows an artist's pain as he is an actor himself. I have a multidimensional character and the entire experience was worth two or three movies. Vasans Visual Ventures were grand producers and had no limits on the budget if it was really required for the scene.

Nani is so humble and praises other actors so profusely. He has done the role in the Telugu version in his style while I have done it in my style. Amala Paul will be seen as a good actor post this film and looks really beautiful in the songs. Ragini is a very nice girl and I wish her good luck. GV is a very good friend and he has given extraordinary music. He is now competing as a hero too, and all my best wishes to him"

Amala Paul said

"It is a special movie to me. Kani Sir is every actor's dream and I like his films as a member of the audience. Nimirnthu Nil has been a long but amazing journey. Kani Sir is very socially conscious and feels responsible towards the society. The movie carries a good message and I thank the producers. Ravi is a wonderful costar and no wonder people call him the decent boy of Kollywood. He is hard working and very dedicated. GV has as always given a wonderful album"

Samuthirakani kept his speech very short and simple and said that he had put his blood and soul into the movie. He also thanked God, his family, friends and his producers.
