Siva Karthikeyan’s new followers are all Yuvan’s fans and friends - Event Story

The team of Pandiraj’s Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga (KBKR) met the press yesterday, the 17th of March, at the RKV Preview Theater in Chennai. Director Pandiraj and the film’s cast comprising of Siva Karthikeyan, Vemal, Regina and Bindu Madhavi were present at the meet along with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, editor Athiyappan Siva and producer Escape Artists P. Madan.

Pandiraj said that the film had come out well and also hinted that he would be working with Yuvan in his next film as well. He spoke about the heroine hunt he had to undertake before commencing KBKR.

He wished his producer well and said that the film has been shot in genuine locations around Trichy to make it look more authentic on screen.

Yuvan told that the re-recording for the climax portions was tough and also thanked Simbu for having sung a song in KBKR, which has gone on to become a big hit. He was also generally happy with the success of KBKR’s music.

Siva Karthikeyan narrated that if not for Pandiraj’s Marina, he would have still been an anchor on TV. He also thanked Yuvan for giving some good tunes for him and also for lending his vocals to a couple of songs featuring him. This has helped Siva gain a lot of fans in Twitter and Facebook as they are all apparently fans of Yuvan.

Vemal was happy that the film had come out well while Bindu was elated that this was her second film with Yuvan’s music following Kazhugu.

Parotta Soori hilariously said that he volunteered to act in the film himself and that he also purchased his costumes for the film with his own money.

The film’s other heroine Regina Cassandra admitted that Pandiraj was her favorite director. Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga is set for release on March 29th as a summer special.
