The much awaited official announcement has finally been made about Thalapathy 62.
Sun TV officially announced this project, a few minutes back, with the tweet, "Sun TV is happy to announce #Vijay62withSunPictures #ActorVijay #ARMurugadoss"
So, it is now official that Vijay's 62nd film with Murugadoss will be bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran for Sun Pictures. This will be the next production venture of Sun Pictures, after the massive sci-fi film Enthiran. Thalapathy 62 also marks the first time association of Sun Pictures with Vijay and Murugadoss. More details regarding the cast and crew are expected to be made very soon in the coming days.

Critics and celebrities are widely praising Karthi's recent action entertainer Theeran Adhigaram Ondru. The film also continues to keep the box office bell ringing.
Our sources inform us that Thalapathy Vijay had supposedly watched Theeran and was super-impressed with the film. It is said that Vijay had called director H Vinoth after the screening and praised him for delivering a quality and racy film.
Wouldn't it be great to see a commercial king like Vijay teaming up with a director like H Vinoth? We hope it happens soon!
