Srinivas tweets against moving IPL out of Chennai

All CSK's home matches have been officially moved from Chennai to Pune. While some films stars have appreciated this move by BCCI, few celebs have voiced against the decision. Singer Srinivas just made a Facebook post against moving IPL out of Chennai.

"As a CSK fan I feel gutted.. Especially when my team has given me so much joy in the first two matches. Art and sport are things that make you forget the miserable nature of our lives and make us happy .. When Kedar Jadhav, Billings, Bravo and Jadeja were in their elements giving it their all, we were transported to a different world bereft of the ugly world that we live in.. That is what makes sport or art truly special.. As a Tamil, I hang my head in shame, for the behavior of some of my misled brethren.. I hang my head in shame because people who I have loved as artists and humans have been responsible for this violence or at least didn’t lead properly.. I hang my head in shame, because I as a Tamil have a tiger by it’s tail and can’t guarantee what happens next. I hang my head in shame because some of my own brethren have forgotten to love, forgotten that violence will only lead to disintegration.I hang my head in shame, because I have not learnt from the past .. I hang my head in shame."
